Puppy School – Junior Class

Our Junior Class takes place on Friday evenings, 6.30pm – 7.15pm at Mellor Village Hall in Blackburn, and is suitable for puppies aged 6-18 months.

We purposely keep our classes small – no more than 8 puppies per class, to ensure learning is well-organised, structured and always supervised by our trainer. Our sessions are designed to be fun, educational and engaging. We’ll not only teach you the how of certain behaviours, but also why why train them. During the class, you’ll cover a number of important subjects, including:

  • Recall from Distraction
  • Greeting Manners
  • Stay in Position
  • Send to Bed/Place
  • Control at Doors
  • Food Manners
  • …and more!

Graduates will receive a certificate of achievement and a rosette to mark their completion of study.

At Dog Ways Lancashire, we use only positive, science-based methods of training, teaching you and your dog to understand and respect each other as you learn. Whether you’re a new puppy owner or a long-time dog owner looking to refresh your skills, you’re welcome to get in touch for more information.

New classes commence every 6 weeks. To check dates and availability for our next intake, please visit https://bookwhen.com/dogwayslancashire

If your puppy isn’t quite ready for a class environment yet, or if you prefer to train on a 1-2-1 basis, you can check out our Private Tuition sessions for an alternative method of delivery.
