About

Dog Ways Lancashire was founded in 2020 by Laura Crompton, and offers a range of pet services and dog training to clients across East Lancashire.

I can’t remember a time when I haven’t had at least one pet/animal in my life. Over the years I’ve shared my life with cats, dogs, various birds, rodents, small furries, reptiles and tropical fish. I’m currently owned by three dogs and a California kingsnake. To say that my pets are a huge part of my life would be an understatement.

Djinn, Border Collie. Chief Cuddler.
Likes: Mantrailing, working sheep, agility, saying ‘Hello’ to humans and getting lots of cuddles

Having worked in the Security and Public Education sectors for the past 18 years, I decided it was time to start focusing on my passion. I wanted to spend my working days doing something I love, so I started Dog Ways in 2020 and am excited to see what the future brings.

Poppy, Maltese Terrier/Shih Tzu cross. Security Officer.
Likes: Tennis balls, trick training, tennis balls, swimming, tennis balls, seeing off intruders, and tennis balls

When it comes to dogs, I am a strong believer in positive reinforcement and rewards-based training. My own dogs enjoy a wide range of activities, including obedience classes, mantrailing, agility and working sheep. My goal in running Dog Ways is to provide a training and enrichment service which benefits both pets and their humans.

Willow, Beagle. Head of Marketing.
Likes: Mantrailing, agility, posing for pictures, trick training, traveling to new and exotic places and then sniffing them
